is a summer of fires, one that's plagued the city of Los Angeles, close from the heat. During one of the numerous evacuations due to fire in a suburb of the city, the fire department come across the corpse of a man, apparently committed suicide. In his hands, a photo album containing pictures of seven young women brutally murdered over a seven-year, but that the police were never able to track down the culprit. The dead man named Lionel Byrd and That's when the trouble starts investigator Elvis Cole: because it was thanks to Cole Byrd, who is accused of being the first year of the fifth performer of the murders, was acquitted and returned to freedom. That the murderess thanks to Elvis was able to do undisturbed two other victims? While the city burns around him, Cole at this point to investigate means to extinguish the fire more strongly: that of his remorse.

Thriller Definitely a very nice, this is a characteristic of all books by Robert Crais. Also this time Elvis Cole is helped in his investigations by detective Carol Starkey second degree ..... I still think that underneath it ....... there will be the attraction ... after Lucy??
